Our client is looking for an Applications Manager to manage a team of application engineers. Should be degree qualified in electronics with a strong technical background within the semiconductor/ IC industry with good understanding of wireless systems e.g. bluetooth, UWB or Zigbee and proven man management experience and knowledge of digital/ analog and/ or embedded systems
Our client is looking for an Applications Manager to manage a team of application engineers. You should be degree qualified in electronics with a strong technical background from within the semiconductor/ IC industry. You should have a good understanding of wireless systems e.g. bluetooth, UWB or Zigbee and proven experience of managing and motivating teams. Experience of digital/ analog and/ or embedded systems is strongly preferred.
Your primary responsibilities will be to manage, motivate and deploy the applications team to ensure efficient use of resources and enhance the end customer experience. Your group will be responsible for providing technical support internally and externally ensuring effective qualification of our client's products in high volume opportunities. This role will involved some travel and represent a challenging mix of both technical and business skills combined with the challenges of directly managing a team.
