Messaging and Group Ware Support specialist - 3rd Line Analyst
A major IT services company with various UK offices seeks a 3rd line support person to join their team, specialising in Messaging technologies. This person will manage the technical aspects of service delivery such as project implementation and validation, investigating problems and support documentation. You will be responsible for all Lotus Notes & Exchange communications and the entire mail system for a client. You will be the decision point for technical escalations through to relevant resolving party, and devise and deliver training to other engineers as required.
Key experience required for this role: Blackberry Server, Exchange (ideally 2007) Mime Sweeper, Tumbleweed, Trend Micro, Symantec Enterprise Vault, MS OCS (Office Communication Server)
You will be a confident communicator, capable of working under pressure and will enjoy the team environment. Career opportunities are excellent with the possibility of moving into highly specialised technical consultancy at a later stage. Highly desirable skills include experience of Lotus Notes 7 and MS Cluster Services.
An excellent starting salary is on offer - Circa £40 - 50k base will be offered to the right person depending on experience. There are also occasional opportunities to earn extra through on-call and overtime work. An excellent benefits package is offered.
