Java Developer. Bright, enthusiastic Java Developer sought by highly profitable Surrey based Hedge Fund. You will develop and support Java 5 / Java 6 in-house trading systems across a range of investment strategies including global macro trading, equities, futures, energy and fixed income markets. No previous financial experience required making this an ideal role to break into the finance sector. You will be working in a dynamic but informal working environment in fantastic offices (table football, pool tables, free food!)
Requirements:
•Strong Java development experience
•Degree educated (2:1 or above ideally in Computer Science or Maths)
•Desirable skills include: scripting language (Python or Ruby preferred), J2EE, JBoss, JavaBeans, Spring, Hibernate, Sysbase, Active MQ
