As the global leader in spread trading on the financial markets, my client are currently looking to offer an exceptional C++ developer to join their growing development team. Upon the recent acquisition of a U.S. exchange, my client are developing new functionality and expanding the platform to operate in new markets.
The role will be to be involved in the design, development and eventual support their financial pricing, calculation, and trading systems. You will need solid experience of working with distributed, multithreaded systems, with client/ server components in a multi-platform environment. here will be a heavy focus on the design and implementation of algorithms for price calculations and system algorithms for the calculation of system components, and ideally you should have a good grasp of STL/ Boost usage.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starting, enthusiastic team-player who will be willing and able to help colleagues at peak-times; able to work on own initiative where necessary; very articulate / excellent communication skills (eg ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical colleagues in a trusted manner); deadline / delivery conscious and is able to cope well under pressure and remain flexible to changing priorities; good analytical skills.
