An exciting opportunity has arisen in Surrey with a blue chip business of global renown. The opportunity offers the successful candidate a great opportunity to build upon their existing experience from within an exciting environment whilst playing a key role in the development of cutting edge business critical software. This position offers a basic salary of £45,000 and generous benefits plus unparalleled room for skills and career development.
The successful applicant will be working in close collaboration with the architecture team, providing key input in the conceptualisation and development of programmes and applications.
Other core responsibilities include the developing, testing and maintaining of new and existing software programs and applications in the Business Systems domain
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Business Domain experience- especially in the manufacturing and engineering industry.
- Proficiency in Delphi 6 - 2006 programming with other development languages being an advantage including:
Visual basic 6, Coldfusion, MX; Java. HTML, XML, ASP.NET and Ajax
- Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practises
- Extensive relational database and operating systems experience with MS SQL 2000-2005
- -Experience with process modelling, analysis and simulation tools using relevant business process standards.
