Analyse Security Risk, Security Analysis, threat models or attack trees, solid C/ C++ on Windows or Unix, TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, SSL, CISSP/ GIAC certification. Detailed, low-level, technical knowledge of Windows, Unix, or Linux operating systems.
Working within the security services team you will be primarily involved in the identification, assessment and mitigation of potential security weaknesses or vulnerabilities within our clients' products.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced developer with a solid knowledge of secure coding techniques and common vulnerabilities or a pen tester with some development or code review experience. In addition to security analysis activities the position will also involve providing technical security guidance and training to product development teams.
A mix of the following experience would be desirable:
CISSP/ GIAC certification.
Detailed, low-level, technical knowledge of Windows, Unix, or Linux operating systems.
Hands-on software development experience.
Solid understanding of C/ C++ development on Windows or Unix platforms.
Good understanding of Java or .Net and related tools and technologies.
Experience developing and testing web based applications.
Experience with static code or binary analysis tools.
Solid understanding of common networking protocols: TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, SSL.
