Systems Administration, Linux, Shell or other scripting, Python, iSCSI and fibre channel, local area networking including VLANs, Automated Testing
You will be responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products through developing and extending automated testing software, managing the automated test processes and analysing complex test data.
The position will involve working with the extensive server test automation infrastructure and as the team grows there will be opportunities for team leadership. Skills required include:
Linux (to a system administrator, or software development level).
Windows, particularly use of shell or other scripting, and knowledge of debugging tools.
Python scripting language.
Network storage including iSCSI and fibre channel.
Local area networking including VLANs
You will be working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. You will need to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting appropriate methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. You will determine correct methods and procedures on new assignments and provide guidance to other development and test engineers. You will develop a good understanding of the server products and be able to use this understanding to better the quality of testing and fault reporting.
