The Commercial Manager will be involved in a broad range of commercial activities for current FRES Contracts and the bidding activities for future FRES Contracts.
Commercial activities will typically include, but will not be limited to;
Devising and preparing Commercial Solutions in line with the overall FRES win strategy. Preparing robust Commercial Proposals in response to Invitations to Tenders (ITT). Drafting, analysing and negotiating a variety of agreements including contract terms and conditions, Confidentiality Agreements, Teaming agreements and Technical Assistance Agreement s. Preparation of RBA/ Tender vet material and Commercial aspects of LCM documentation. Post contract award, responsible for contract maintenance activities and Customer management. At all times you will work within mandated policies and will be responsible for the appropriate Implementation of Commercial Governance.
The Commercial Manager will need proven experience in a Contracts / Commercial role with experience of UK MoD contracting desirable; experience of 'Business Winning' Phase desirable; drafting of contract documentation desirable and ability to operate in intense bidding activity desirable. You will work closely with the FRES Bid Team, Senior Commercial Manager and Costing & Pricing Manager and therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of working within a team environment and independently.
