Java Developer / Team Lead, Project Manager, Investment Banking
My client is a leading investment bank in London. They are looking for a experienced team lead to join their cross asset technology team developing internal and external web solutions. The individual will set the technical vision and run the projects / developers in the London based team. You will be the technical advisor for the system and you will be responsible for architecting complex systems, and lead developers to design and deliver quality web applications used by clients.
Candidates should be degree educated in a computer science or similar discipline to a 2:1 or above. You should be an excellent Java developer with experience designing systems, running projects and managing teams. You should have good communication skills and have managed teams of more than 3 before, ideally 5 +. You should have experience designing and developing large - scale web applications ideally used globally.
Candidates need experience using the following technologies:
Java, threading, synchronization, Servlets, Struts, JSP, Taglibs, Velocity, Unix, Linux, OO Design, ANT, MAVEN, Relational Database, Perl, Shell scripts.
