Network & Security Engineer required by Global Telecoms giant.
My client is a multinational Tier1 telco offering opportunity and latitude for its employees to learn new technologies at enterprise level.
A typical day would cover:-
- Remote access or visit customer network to perform switch, router, firewall, proxy changes or troubleshooting.
- Perform switch, router, firewall, proxy installation
- Join meetings regarding solutions provision to customers
- Documentation of solutions or change control
Skills required:-
- LAN/ WAN -,L2/ L3,
- Cisco (Certification not required but must be at least CCNA level)
- Firewalling (VPN – SSL and IPSec)
- Proxy technologies
Desirable Skills:-
-Juniper
-Foundry
- Check Point
- F5
- Blue Coat (or similar proxy),
