Leading IT Consultancy desires technical Support Specialist for immediate start!!!
Unique opportunity to form part of a rapidly developing information technology consulting, services, and business processing organisation. Based on the principles of collaboration and professional integrity this dynamic organism has grown significantly and encompasses more than 100 consultants.
The individual must have proficient technical skills with experience in providing support for hosting applications within a .Net/ IIS infrastructure environment. The successful candidate will provide 3rd level support for the existing infrastructure whilst working on delivering applications from internal customers in development, staging and production environments, and working with release and change management.
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of Internet Information Server 6 and particular exposure to .Net (ie Net 1.1 and 2.0). The ability to configure COM + Services would be advantageous as well as RDBMUS skills(ie MS SQL, Oracle and ODBC). A comprehensive knowledge of Internet technologies is a must such as LDAP, SSL/ HTTPS and firewalls and networking. MCSE,MCAD or MCP certifications would also prove advantageous coupled with a knowledge of ITIL.
