My client is a respected technology company developing, among other products, a web-based platform for the insurance and reinsurance industries. With a turnover nearing £500m and around three hundred employees based in their headquarters in London (where all technical development takes place), they have seen substantial growth in their market in recent years, allowing them to offer the fantastic opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to join their skilled development team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for requirements analysis, planning, performing Greenfield development, and designing and implementing innovative solutions. You will be expected to lead by example as a more senior member of the team, and be more involved with the decision making process.
To be considered for this role, you will need solid J2EE experience and have had exposure to Spring and Hibernate. Any exposure to Struts, XML, SQL, JUnit or JMock would be beneficial.
