Field Applications Engineer with excellent Board Level Ethernet Hardware knowledge sought by key client. Must have previous FAE experience from the Semiconductor / Electronics industry. Of great interest would be 1Gb and 10Gb Ethernet NIC card knowledge. Home Based - in Germany.
Key US Semiconductor client is seeking a strong board / system level Field Applications Engineer to support and develop their existing customer accounts and expand their client base across Europe. Main task is to assist with design in of customer applications, Testing and Building sample boards. Role is to be home based in Germany, so must be fluent in German and English.
Requirements:
-Knowledge of TCP/ IP, NIC, iSCSI, iWARP and Ethernet protocols
-Good Linux/ Windows/ FreeBSD/ Solaris/ Vmware skills
-Electronics Degree or equivalent
-Proven experience as FAE, customer facing and presentation skills
-Understanding of benchmarking and monitoring tools
