Senior Data Network Engineer –Routers, Switches, L2/ L3,LAN/ WAN, West London 50k
My client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer to be based in West London.
You will be working in a 3rd line support role in some of the most complex and advanced infrastructures in the UK, with exposure to leading edge technologies within the networking space. You will take a step back from day-today issues and look at long term improvements to the network, implementing improvements, changes and upgrades where possible. You will also act as a technical focal point within the team, delivering in a very technical environment incorporating MPLS routing, Campus Switching, Firewalls / Security, QoS (including VoIP), 10Gb Ethernet, multicast, content networking (inc ACE Modules and Caching) and IPSec VPN's.
To be considered you should be CCNP qualified (or have the equivalent expertise) and possess a relevant degree (or experience equivalence). You will have solid background and experience in supporting high performance, enterprise class network infrastructures. Good working knowledge of Cisco IOS and Hardware (including 6500s, Foundry hardware and OS), TCP/ IP Routing (OSPF, EIGRP & BGP), LAN/ WAN technologies, Firewalls and Content Delivery.
