One of the UK's retail giants' , requires an experienced IT professional, for a director level role within their organisation. With 4 - 5 years in a similar role as your most recent permanent position, ideally within a large or medium sized company, you will bring some valuable knowledge and industry exposure to this exciting and rewarding opportunity. You will provide leadership to an array of talented IT staff, from: systems support advisers to developers, all of which will fall under your remit. Other areas that will need your guidance and expertise will be the Project managers, Business analysts and Testers. In these areas you will need to perform a consultative process for them, reporting back to the board for any advised and comprehensive changes that are necessary for the smooth running of the overall company systems. Finally, you must be extremely commercially aware and take complex business requirements and turn them into systems architecture that will ease and benefit the organisation as a whole .
