Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Lotus Notes, project planning and Project Portfolio tools. International Investment bank seeks a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be required to contribute to the Client Delivery team. Provides input and feedback into client delivery team initiatives. Contributes to forums involving the client delivery and wider Services team. Network with client delivery and Services team members. Ensures IT projects and initiatives are scoped and initiated. Work closely with Services to understand and help establish the project requirements against the strategic objectives. Liaises with Services to determine infrastructure requirements within the project environment. Provides input into the process for prioritizing different initiatives against the strategic objectives of Services. Accountable for end-to-end IT delivery of each project within their remit in a Services and (offshore) vendor environment. Responsible for coordination of the tendering process and negotiations for project during RFI and RFP phase, in a multi-vendor environment. Work with the sub-domain Portfolio Manager for drafting and tendering RFIs and RFPs. Provides input to activities to reduce development and service costs in the sub-domain. Ensures that IT solutions within Services are in line with standards. Manages project budgets. Performs effective project management for multiple projects within the sub-domain to ensure IT projects are delivered to realise the benefits to Services. Manages vendor interaction for application development and enhancement services within a project environment. Draws specialist and technical resources from Services IT when required. Manages requests for Business Analyst resource to provide technical input into IT projects from conception through to implementation, handover and review, as required. Manages progress reporting for IT projects. Manages acceptance on behalf of bank for project related services and functions. Manages the user acceptance testing process from initial scoping through to test execution. Maintains an awareness of the current status of testing projects and issues. Oversees the development and use of testing metrics to stay informed of testing progress. Manages the delivery and post-implementation of application development solutions. Tracks and monitors the performance of application development and enhancements post-implementation (including infrastructure components). Leads a process for ensuring lessons learned from programme successes are escalated to the Portfolio Manager. Supports the sharing of best practices and learnings within IT GFu and ensures a quality focus. Supports discussions and the sharing of best practices and learning.
