<b>Senior/ Principle Health and Safety Advisor – Glasgow</ b>
One of Britain's leading environmental and engineering consultancies are currently looking for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor/ Principle Health and Safety Advisor for their Glasgow office, offering regional support for Scotland and the North East.
This Glasgow based consultancy are working on a number of varying projects both small and large scale, nationally and internationally. They are now looking for an experienced Senior/ Principal Health and Safety Advisor to head up the Health and Safety team in Glasgow to undertake planning supervisor and Occupational Health and Safety duties.
As the perfect Senior/ Principal Health and Safety advisor for this role you will have a minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in construction or design and you will have associate or full membership of an association of suitable construction institution such as the Association of Project Safety or a Health and Safety institution such as CMIOSH or MIIRSM.
Working across a variety of sectors with a focus on Highways, Commercial and residential, the ideal Senior/ Principal Health and Safety advisor will be CDM Co-ordinator experienced and fully knowledgeable on the current CDM regulations and proposed forthcoming changes. You will also be an excellent communicator and experienced in advising and training on Health and Safety matters in the construction industry ideally in or around the Glasgow area at present but consideration will be given to strong candidates looking to relocate to the Glasgow area.
The role will be predominantly office based but there will be some site visits also. Ultimately this consultancy are looking to take on a competent and experienced Health and Safety advisor who is dynamic and enthusiastic and looking to join a successful and established company in Glasgow.
