A major networking and telecoms company seeks a Business Analyst with experience in and with all operational aspects of a Services business, preferably with a Systems Integrator, to join their busy team in their London office. This position is responsible for the proactive development and deployment of new/ enhanced services, covering all business and some operational aspects from service definition through to build and deployment. It includes ownership of the design of the end-to-end quote-to-cash business process as required/ affected by the new/ enhanced service. The successful candidate will take responsibility and accountability for the following deliverables in particular, but not limited to, and dependant on the scope of the project: Product description, high-level and detailed business requirements. The Business Analyst role is primarily project-focussed but may require active involvement in operational functions from time to time. Must be able and willing to travel locally and internationally, dependant on project and operational requirements. Experience in and with all operational aspects of a Services business, preferably with a Systems Integrator. Very good analytical skills with the ability to convert business requirements into business deliverables to meet business objectives. Experience in the process of developing and implementing new services and systems. Understanding of and experience with ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) with an understanding of project management processes and experience in coordinating and managing tasks, and small projects. Must also have a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Word, Excel Project, PowerPoint and Visio, and an understanding of system generally used in a services organisation e.g. Remedy, SAP, EMS would be advantageous.
