Our client requires an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and contractual aspects of a Project or business Area and support operations and set strategies with the objective of minimising risks, maximising opportunities and avoiding disputes.
Duties and responsibilities will include the identification and implementation of process and/ or efficiency improvements, support work, winning teams, where required, in identifying and quantifying risk and opportunity in bids and tenders, supporting and where necessary lead, key negotiations with prospective customers, partners, contractors and sub- contractors. To take the lead responsibility in developing, implementing and reviewing effective commercial activity within a project.
Applicants must have previous experience of commercially managing design and build schemes over £50M in value and have a proven track record in successfully supporting a business unit or region. Member of a Professional Body with Intermediate Level Qualifications (or equivalent) as a minimum

They have now secured a number of joint ventures in Dubai, Oman and Abu Dhabi and they are now a regional leader in design, construction, facilities management and maintenance services in the Middle East. From land reclamation, industrial and infrastructure projects, to the creation of whole new waterfront cities, leisure facilities, retail parks and marinas.
Our client is currently involved in the construction of a magnificent, mixed-use waterfront development where over 77,000 people will live, work, shop, dine and relax. The project will provide an unrivalled blend of retail, leisure, hospitality, entertainment, office and residential facilities. Specifically, it will include 2.6 million square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment, 6 international hotels, innovative residential developments, a business park, automotive showrooms, an 18-hole championship golf course, 2 international schools and a 150-berth marina.
