Our client is a powerful provider of complete business and communications services, having enjoyed major revenue growth globally and with a leading reputation for delivery of outsourced IT Solutions they have a brand new opportunity for a senior Microsoft Exchange Engineer to take on a pivotal role within the organisation.
You will be working on the worlds largest Microsoft Exchange programmes, transitioning services from legacy systems to Microsoft Exchange 2007, there are currently 300,000 registered users and this is projected to grow to 1 million by the completion of the programme. This is the only project of its kind and will offer you unprecedented exposure within the industry.
This is a key role in which you will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for providing day to day operational support of the Microsoft Exchange 2003/ 2007 Servers, you will be working closely with other Support Engineers, providing support and guidance where necessary to ensure an effective and successful service is delivered. A proactive approach to avoid incidents, look for improvements, potential issues and managing updates and deployments is also a key part of the role.
The successful Microsoft Exchange Specialist will be technically strong with a strong background in Supporting Exchange 2003 and a good knowledge of Exchange 2007. You should be proficient in storage planning, troubleshooting, disaster recovery, messaging and internet fundamentals and posses expertise in either Windows Server 2003/ 2008, Active Directory, IIS or SQL.
