This role will involve business projects that include: migrating to Oracle 11G; standardising, upgrading and improving technologies and processes; exploring all of Oracle's products such as partitioning and data compression; and RAC clustering, which obviously require Oracle expertise. To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced Oracle DBA with a background in supporting mission critical, transactional and 24/ 7 operations. You will have thorough knowledge of Oracle 9i, 10G and 11G, would be beneficial. You will also be required to have experience of Linux , RMAN backups, Oracle RAC, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Unix/ Linux shell scripting and SQL Performance tuning.
