Position: Satellite Image Management Engineer
Location: Surrey.
Salary: £25-35k.
Key Skills: Remote Sensing Systems, Image Processing, Specifying Computer hardware requirements, GIS, Specifying Storage Solutions, Software development (Java and/ or C/ C++) and Networking.

Key Tasks
Working with the Senior Ground Segment Systems Engineers
Supporting future bids.
Capturing and defining requirements for both Hardware and Software.
Design of the Ground Segment image processing systems and Interfaces.
Specifying software requirements for software development team and/ or external suppliers.
Identifying and Specifying Storage solutions.
Managing budgets and project schedules.
Liaising with Manufacturing, Software and Installation teams.
Liaising with hardware and software suppliers and sub-contractors.
Developing sub-system and component level test plans.
Performing software and hardware installation and configuration.
Server management and configuration.
Participating in Customer reviews and Factory Acceptance testing.
Updating of image processing documentation including test reports
Participating in the Commissioning of Ground Segments.
Delivery of Customer training.
