A leading innovative organisation within mobile technology are looking for a lead PHP developer. Offices based in Central London.
You will be responsible for the web and mobile web interfaces we expose for the product, both external and internal, and working closely with the Product, Design and Operations teams. As the team grows, you will be increasingly responsible for mentorship, quality and timely delivery of code.
Required Knowledge/ Skills:
- Experience leading a development team
- Familiarity with development methodologies such as Agile or XP
- SVN, or other commonly used software versioning systems
- Object Orientated PHP and MVC structures
- CSS/ HTML
- Javascript + Ajax
- Comfort in Linux/ Unix environments
- Strong communication skills
- A positive creative attitude
Useful Knowledge/ Skills:
- Common Web Services (SOAP / XMLRPC / REST)
- Zend framework, or other commonly used PHP frameworks
- Apache
- Mobile web design
- An interest in social networking and web 2.0 technologies
Nice-to-have Knowledge/ Skills:
- Photoshop
- Adobe Flash and/ or air
- Wordpress/ BBPress
- PHP Unit
- MySQL / Postgres / SQLite or other DB systems

You will have strong communication skills, a positive creative attitude and a strong interest in social networking and web technologies.
