This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, dynamic Project Manager to take charge of a portfolio of on-line publishing and Internet-based projects. The culture of the organisation means the successful candidate will have a good deal of autonomy and responsibility for the on-line projects they are allocated, so they must be confident and self-reliant. The PM will be expected to manage closely a portfolio of related projects, following defined processes, but selecting the right tools and procedures to get the projects implemented efficiently and to ensure control and visibility through sensible communication and reporting.
Candidates MUST have a proven track record of delivering multiple technology-led business change projects with MAJOR organisation(s), in the publishing/ media sectors. They must be an excellent communicator, able to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation, and must have strong understanding of business issues as well as appropriate technical knowledge of Internet and publishing technologies.
