We are looking for two Visual Designers for an inital 3 - 6 month contract with skills in TV Design and Online Design (covering everything to do with platforms in mobile, online and television) who are at a mid to senior level who can hit the ground running.
All candidates will need to show a portfolio/ examples of their work.
Interviews will be taking place within the next week.
As a Visual Designer you will produce innovative designs for mobile, web and interactive TV projects. Working in collaboration with stakeholders you will propose solutions that balance user need with business goals and technological capabilities.

Required knowledge and experience:
Bachelors degree in design or related field or equivalent experience
Substantial demonstrable experience in visual design, complemented by knowledge of interaction design, usability, accessibility and information architecture
A portfolio of successfully delivered projects that demonstrate design expertise
A high level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. An understanding of Adobe After Effects, Flash, Premiere and Final Cut Pro is also an advantage
Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams of designers, producers and software developers
Excellent organisational skills, with particular emphasis on assessing priorities when dealing with heavy workloads and tight deadlines
An in-depth understanding of the design process and how new media can deliver audience needs and contribute to the BBC’s audience’s aims and aspirations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information concisely; and to influence others, and to negotiate, persuade and sell ideas whilst maintaining trust and confidence
