Intermediate Construction Planner/ Senior Construction Planner - Central London
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful Construction and Project Management companies operating in the building, civil engineering and property sectors.
Their core activities include the management of the development, design and construction process from project inception to post completion aftercare. Although they were only established around 15 years ago they have grown to be one of the best companies in the construction industry and are always associated with prestigious projects. Due to good business practices, excellent management, and progressive growth strategies, they are currently recruiting an intermediate or senior planner with construction sector experience. This is to work on an impressive portfolio of construction-related projects across a wide range of market sectors, but with a primary focus on retail projects. This includes new-build, refurbishment and fit out. The successful planner will be based at the company's Central London office.
Essential skills:
-The ideal candidate will have spent at least 3 years in a construction planning position
-Experience of planning £10mn + projects would be an advantage
-This client uses PowerProject planning software, so experience of this is highly desirable. Candidates without this will be expected to have knowledge of other planning software such as TeamPlan, Primavera, MS Project etc
-Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be communicating with Senior Planners and planning staff internally and both clients and other contractors externally
