Existing & comprehensive Software Library (in C & Linux) so U need experience of building complex Applications utilising a Library
You will have responsibility for Design / Coding / Testing & Integration of your own Projects
You should also have some of these things:
1 A Degree in a relevant subject
2 Some Formal Software Design experience
3 GOOD Personal communication skills
Knowledge of HPC or Clustered Computing may useful...
