ATCA experience required... This is an exciting C role, PROGRAMMING ATCA
type, blade based Systems under Red Hat / RHEL Linux or Carrier Grade SuSE
ATCA's can grow into very large Systems, with literally thousands (or tens
of thousands) of CPU Cores...
Paying a package of £50k basic + pension + bonus & full package of benefits
You should have Diagnostics Software experience, working specifically in C
under Linux... Many Systems can be configured as Nodes or Switching Blades
and can be inter-connected in a variety of ways to form HPC Clusters.
Some Applications are Telecomms Switching, Interactive Media, VoD / Live
recording and other services...
Experience of programming ATCA Systems (or of any Multi-Node / Multi-CPU /
Multi-Core Systems (especially any pipelining, Message-Passing, VIA,
Multi-Threading experience or 'shared-memory' expertise) could be useful.
You will require a good knowledge of Linux and C Development and some Linux
Kernel-level / Device-Driver knowledge.
Again, this post is paying up to £50,000pa + a very good package of pension
