Security Analyst, Technology Risk Analyst Contract. Java, J2EE, Websphere, Tomcat, Weblogic, Sun, iPlanet, SQL, XML, HTTP/ HTTPS MVC, JSP, Struts, .Net, HTML, JavaScript and Spring
knowledge required. Along with knowledge of Secure Application Development and other techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities a plus.

The Role:

Technology Risk Analyst to assure any applications developed by or maintained by our financial sector client satisfy all aspects of systems security, adhering to corporate requirements and counter-acting known security vulnerabilities. The role consists of performing secure code reviews, communicating any findings, assisting project teams in the implementation of the corporate security standards.

While working as part of this team the role requires the successful individual to display a high degree of ownership for their own work, and be able to quickly understand the security environment in which we operate. It is a varied and interesting role, which will give the successful applicant the opportunity to work with many business units, work closely with senior management and gain valuable expertise in the important area of Information Security.

The person assigned to this position will be required to execute:
•Secure Code reviews (SCR): Reviewing application code to assure quality security practises. Ensuring the application security complies with corporate security standards and best security practises.
•Consultancy: Assisting project teams with security concerns relating to the application design, development and deployment. Assisting teams to implement best practice design and coding standards. Assisting developers in fixing findings from code reviews.
•Process and Procedures enhancement projects: Working as part of a team or leading initiatives to help the team effectiveness/ performance: for example improving the management of the secure code review queue.
•Security Tool evaluation: Working within ASG in the evaluation of security tools to enhance/ support secure code reviews or the promotion of security within the development teams.
•Secure Design review: Participating in Technical Security Review (SDR) sessions at project concept and design stage.

Other useful technical skills include:
•Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft .NET, IIS, .NET Framework
•Experience in various Development Methodologies
•Q/ A Experience, (SIT, UAT, DIT) desirable
•Knowledge of C++, C#, VB .Net
•Knowledge of network/ host topologies

You should be a senior developer with a minimum of 3 years' web technology experience and/ or a senior security qualification for example, a masters in Security and Forensic Computing.

There may be the occasional requirement for some travel. Please send me your CV ASAP.
