An exciting opportunity to provide armoured vehicle qualification testing support to an overseas client requires engineers who have significant experience in the effective conduct and execution of AFV Land Systems qualification testing activities.

The engineers will be required to assist the client’s project team in the delivery of a demanding qualification testing programme and provide technical support in working with the supply chain, test facilities and client organisations in the successful execution of qualification testing activities.

Mandatory Requirements of the Role

A proven track record in conducting qualification testing and trials activities within the AFV Land Systems or Automotive Sector.
Knowledge of project management/ planning processes and how they can be best utilised within a structured testing environment.
AFV Land Systems technical and or testing background. A proactive and engaging manner, good at working with large teams in a matrix management organisation.
Experience of producing deliverables on time to a high standard in high pressure environments.
Desirable Requirements for the Role
Understanding of AFV Development Programmes
Practical knowledge in the generation of test, evaluation and acceptance requirements that relate to technical requirements/ specifications.
Experience of co-ordinating engineering, manufacturing ands supply chain functions in the context of delivering qualification testing activities.
Experience of working with military customers and European defence suppliers.
Knowledge of safety, ILS and R&M disciplines

Some work outside normal office hours may be necessary. Travel to and from client sites and/ or temporary secondment to client's offices will be required.
