Global Insurance Company currently requires an experienced Sybase DBA. You will carry out day to day administration activities, maintenance and upkeep of Sybase and SQL Databases across the UNIX and NT platforms, experience in installing Sybase, SQL and Oracle databases and proficient on creating and maintaining shell scripts. You will need knowledge Sybase 12.5 and knowledge of Sybase replication, practical experience of Sybase 12.5.4 and Oracle 91/ 10, OEM, RMAN for backup and recovery, DataGuard performance monitoring and tuning and experience of capacity planning of Sybase and Oracle on a UNIX platform.
