L I N U X & U N I X Job (Support / Telecomms Co.)
BRILLIANT Linux / Unix Support Job
SUPPORT on LINUX and UniX in MIDDLE of
Berkshire (This is also Mid-THAMES VALLEY) and with the possibility of meeting some Clients / occasional travel & paying a good salary in the region of £32,000pa to £39,000pa (as a BASIC...!) + PENSION + package of benefits.
It is a great Linux & UNIX Support role with really good people in an already-experienced department, so plenty of excellent people to learn from (it's Gr8 there..!!)
U should / will already have solid experience of supporting BIG LINUX / UNIX / SOLARIS Systems, be a good communicator and you MUST also be very Fluent in English as you WILL ultimately have the Customer-contact...
The work needs some Shell Script, ksh scripting + maybe at-leat some Perl, The usual Network Admin skills / TCP/ IP, a suitable qualification (in relevant subject) + some form of Telecomm's signalling (SS7 or SIGTRAN...) etc etc.
This will provide a tremendous stream of fresh challenges and new skills (AND necessary increases in seniority & salary)
