Desktop Services Manager – Private Banking – London – up to £65K + car + benefits
My client is a leading provider of private banking and wealth management services in the UK and Europe, and is currently experienced a period of sustained growth, despite prevailing market conditions. This is an unparalleled opportunity to take on a senior role in service delivery management within a challenging investment banking environment.
As Desktop Services Manager, you'll be responsible for the support of desktop and laptop services across the bank, negotiating, implementing, managing and maintaining SLAs and OLAs by liaising closely between the Business and IT. You'll also deliver infrastructure change and upgrades and will take charge of service improvement measures delivered within an ITIL framework. You'll have an extensive remit to adapt your service to the changing needs of the business.
Suitable candidates will come from a financial services (ideally Investment Banking) background, and will have strong experience of building and managing desktop support teams. You will have proven experience of delivering change and service improvement to a strategic agenda and will proactively identify areas for improvement as part of your day-to-day role. You'll be at least ITIL Service Management Foundation level qualified, and will ideally have the ITIL Service Management certificate comprising IT Service Support and IT Service Delivery. In short, you'll be an established senior IT manager with the ability to deliver outstanding results within the desktop services arena.
