Our client requires a skilled Physical Layer SW Development Engineer for a project in southern Germany.

Job description:

• LTE Physical Layer activities
• Design and implementation of physical layer SW for mobile platforms supporting newest technology and standards
• Simulation and verification of algorithms
• Integration of SW on target, i.e. embedded systems and DSPs

Required competence:

• Experience with physical layer SW development for embedded systems and DSPs
• Minimum Bachelor of Science or similar degree in relevant Telecommunication/ Engineering field
• Knowledge of UMTS / WCDMA / HSDPA / EUL or WLAN standards in the physical layer and future developments within 3GPP, OFDM, MIMO
• Programming in C/ C++, Matlab and CM Tools (ClearCase)

Working site:
• Nuremberg, Germany

Time schedule
• Start: ASAP
• End: March 2009 (possibly longer)
