Head of Operations - IP, Internet & Data Operations -
My client, an internationally recognized IP leader is looking to expand its Datacentre operations management team with an experienced Head of Operations who will take responsibility for IP, Internet and Data platforms within the datacenter.
As the Head of Operations, you will be expected to make a difference from day one and be able to influence. This is a perfect opportunity for a candidate who really wants to stretch themselves within a fast paced, ever changing environment.
Experienced within the Telecoms / ISP Hosting field, you will take responsibility for the management and motivation of a strong technical team made up of Network Engineers from 1st line through to 3rd line. It is preferred that you have knowledge of Juniper, Cisco routing technologies and Alcatel/ Nortel Frame and ATM technologies and have implemented successful change within an ITIL environment.
Other skills will include: Management of 3rd party suppliers; negotiation of SLA's and monitoring these against the agreed KPIs; strong verbal and written communication skills
