Technical Author / Writer required by company to prepare end user technical documentation in order to write, edit and produce documentation for their key products. Degree qualified, preferably with a good background in consumer electronics.
Our key client is seeking a Technical Writer to write, edit and produce documentation and support materials for their consumer electronics products. You will also be required to prepare training manuals and produce presentations for their products.
Requirements:
-Proven technical writing abilities with experience of the electronics industry
-Competent at Adobe Illustrator, Word, Lotus WordPro and Corel Draw etc
-Understanding of the consumer electronics industry
-Degree or equivalent in a supporting field
Responsibilities:
-Create press publications, data sheets, drawings and applications notes
-Writing material for online publication
-Producing technical illustrations
-Work with engineers to ensure that all details and updates etc are captured correctly
