The Role
My client urgently requires a Contracts Manager to run a wide range of projects in the Kent area, ranging in value from £5m up to £25m. The main focus of my clients business is the new build market, especially commercial, hospitals and educational buildings.
The Company
My client is a major player in the contracting world that has regional offices all over the country. With an annual turnover now approaching £500m, the projects they undertake range in value and are across the whole spectrum of industry sectors.
Duties
The Contracts Manager must have the ability to manage the project on site and take responsibility for the efficient execution of construction works in accordance with the agreed methods, standards and programme. Other duties will include programming works, co-ordinating and monitoring subcontractors, ensuring that works are completed to the specified quality, and that the contract KPI's and targets are met.
Package
The ideal Contracts Manager can expect to be rewarded with a salary of up £70k per annum depending on experience. Along with this excellent salary a car or car allowance, health care and pension can be expected. A construction related degree is essential along with new build and design & build experience.
