Major Investment Bank requires a Credit Risk Business Analyst, to work within a Front Office risk function.
• Extensive experience of Investment Banking
• In-depth knowledge of Credit Risk Management including methodology/ processes/ terminology
• Good mathematics background.
• Knowledge of structured products
• Extensive experience in writing high quality business and functional requirements for investment banking systems
• Experience in defining functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience in running structured workshops to drive out requirements and design
• Strong Microsoft system skills (to model/ prototype calculations and processes)
• Experience of risk measurement and risk control systems
• Experience of transaction management and daily position update within a high volume processing environment (risk, front office trading systems or operations)
• Market risk experience
• Application development background
• Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions
• Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal)
• Flexible and proactive/ self-motivated working style
• Strong personal ownership of problem resolution
• Ability to multi-task under pressure
• Ability to assimilate detail and operate with a precise approach to tasks and requirements.
