Job Role
You will be part of the development team transforming our billing platform and we are therefore my client is on the look for a highly motivated system developer with extensive programming knowledge. The customer care and billing system is developed and maintained in-house. It is developed in the Dataflex Programming language so experience within Dataflex is essential as it supports clients “direct to home in seven countries. Our projects are international, exciting and challenging as they cover the whole development cycle from requirement to deployment.
Candidate profile
Successful candidates should have Solid Extensive programming experience preferably more and previous experience from Billing and CRM systems is a requirement. As our programming team is relatively small and closely integrated with the testing team the successful candidate should enjoy working as part of a team.
Qualifications and experience
•Experience of programming Billing and CRM systems preferably within media or Telco.
•Software development within a Linux and/ or UNIX environment.
•Experience of working with Oracle databases
•Solid SQL knowledge
•Ability to accurately design and document system changes
•Ability to analyze functional requirements and transforming them into change request detailed designs
•Coding and unit testing changes based on detailed designs
•Providing implementation and test support
The following things are desirable
•Dataflex programming language
•XML/ XSSL
•Web technologies and J2EE, .NET and other object oriented languages
•System configuration management and relevant tools (e.g. CVS)
•Experience from providing system support to operations and customer service teams
