An Intermediate Planner / Project Planner with civils, roads and/ or highways maintenance experience is required to join a top UK Contractor based in their Enfield office.
The Client:
Founded in the 1920s, my client is one of the largest privately owned, multidisciplinary construction organisations in the UK. The success of their strategy for planned expansion and growth has resulted in the anticipated turnover in 2008 to be around £290 million
With this in mind my client has recently taken on a number of Highway maintenance projects resulting in the need for a Project Planner, in particular my client is looking to appoint an Intermediate Planner with a strong background in Civils, and ideally, any roads and highways experience.
The job:
As the successful Planner you will be based in my client's offices in Enfield working on a number of Highway Maintenance contracts.
Projects vary in value and as the successful candidate you will be working on a number of projects at the same time, this will enable you to get a wider scope of experience making you more marketable in the future.
Essential skills:
-The ideal candidate will have spent a minimum of 2 years working as a planner (other good candidates may be considered if you can prove your ability to do this job)
-You will have highways, roads, concrete, water or civil engineering experience
-An engineering degree or engineering background will be advantageous but not essential
Remuneration
Salaries will vary dependent on levels of experience, but you can expect a basic salary of between £20,000 and £40,000. The company offers a generous benefits package, which will include car allowance, healthcare plan and pension.
