Service Desk Analyst
XP, Support, Office, Active Directory, Exchange"1st", "2nd".
A top ten UK consultancy is currently seeking an experienced technical analyst to join their elite technical department.
The Service Support team is based in Surrey and provides 1st level infrastructure and application support. The 1st and 2nd line teams work closely together to provide top quality technical support for users.
The successful candidates primary responsibilities will be to provide 1st level technical support for head office infrastructure including hardware, operating systems and file systems. Other responsibilities will include investigation and resolution of incidents and/ or assignment of incidents to the relevant support team within agreed SLA's, to contribute to the ongoing changes/ development of the Service Support function and ensuring new and/ or established service standards are achieved
•Proven experience of operating in a busy customer facing area
•Previous service desk experience
•Experience of telephone based customer support
•Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003
-Supporting and Troubleshooting Windows XP
•Supporting and Troubleshooting Office 2003
•Call handling, customer service and/ or complaints handling qualifications or relevant experience
•A basic knowledge of ITIL or have worked in an ITIL environment
