Unix. Middleware. Our client, a global blue chip financial services organisation, is currently seeking a number of Support Analysts, to provide 2nd and 3rd line support of Unix and Middleware systems. You will be joining a busy team, responsible for incident investigation and resolution and problem diagnosis within tight SLAs, and some small scale change/ deployments.
You will need excellent communication skills and will be expected to forge strong working relationships with service management teams, and have strong time management ability. Technically, you will need a solid Unix support background (ideally AIX, but all flavours, Solars, Tru64, HP-UX, Linux) considered), plus some knowledge of the following is highly advantageous: Websphere, Apache, Tomcat, Jboss, Weblogic, SunOne, Tivoli, LDAP, Unix scripting. Knowledge of ITIL highly desirable.
