Project Manager - Project Management, Prince 2, Public Sector / Government, Vendor Management. My client is an extremely high profile Govt backed initiative. They are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to join their growing IT Function and take responsibility for the management of vendor delivery working on highly complex, high profile projects. You will be charged with managing the planning, adoption of and on advising on suitable project delivery methods, managing end user requirements, vendor management and the monitoring and assessment of the activities of the supplier base, assist in the preparation of annual budgets, and the subsequent planning of suitable resource management to achieve project goals. To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate a background gained within project management, using relevant Project Management methodologies (Prince2, PMBok etc), experience of managing the full lifecycle of IT supplier / vendor engagement and a broad understanding of working and achieving results within a Government / Public Sector regulated arena.
