Profile
During its 200-year history, my client has established itself as one of the region's leading building contractors. Offering comprehensive construction services across all market sectors throughout Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.
From its base in Southampton the company operates in three distinct areas, which are main contracts, design & build and special projects.
Role
The project you will be based on initially is a £6m extension to a college building. The successful project surveyor will have over all responsibility for the day to day running of the project including sub contractor procurement, cash flow and the settlement of final accounts.
As well as this project our client has a steady pipeline of future business including new build office blocks and mixed use buildings.
Requirements
My client's main priority is that the Project Surveyor has experience of running large, £5m+ projects. A Quantity Surveying qualification is desirable but not essential
Package
A salary of up to £48k per annum is offered for the right candidate, negotiable depending on experience. Along with this salary company car or car allowance is provided along with health care and an excellent pension
