Our client, a leading organisation based in Coventry is currently looking to recruit a skilled 2nd line support person to report into the Helpdesk Manager. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong 1st and 2nd line support background with strong working knowledge of IT systems including Active Directory, Lotus Notes, Server 2003 and Windows. The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that the IT helpdesk function handles IT and process calls from across the group, and resolve or facilitate the resolution of them in a timely fashion. You will be responsible for providing a customer focused help desk service throughout the UK , the management and prioritisation of issues within the help desk process, ensuring that adequate training is received upon the handover of IT projects and assisting the helpdesk manager with the implementation and enforcement of IT polices.
