RF Test Technician/ Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a company who are a Systems Integration Company who are a leading supplier of sophisticated defence solutions, specialising in Sensing and Surveillance, Communications and Space Solutions.
The main purposes of the RF Test Technician/ Engineer role are to:
•Control production Special Test Equipment (STE)
•De-bug to component level complicated Digital and RF CCA's using special test equipment
•Assist in development, assembly, and maintenance of STE
•Test procedures
•Take responsibility for controlling test equipment and ensuring this equipment is reliable and supplies the proper conditions for testing the product
•Conduct STE acceptance and/ or qualification and/ or type test
•Train production test personnel on the theory of operation of the company's products
•Support the production test department
Those applying for the role of RF Test Technician/ Engineer will require:
•ONC/ HNC Level Education
•A Large amount of previous applicable experience as a technician
•Comprehensive knowledge of electronic products including some mechanical understanding
•Knowledge of components and circuit boards within RF equipment
•Previous working experience within the Defence or Avionics or Aerospace industries
Additional benefits to the RF Test Technician/ Engineer role will include:
