My client is a young and dynamic regional construction contractor based in Central Hertfordshire. This rapidly growing organisation works on projects throughout the UK, but primarily within the M25 area. Forms of contract they work on include design and build and construction management, and they cover a diverse range of sectors including health, education, leisure facilities, commercial, and industrial.
Recently the company has recently secured several contracts and won several projects. Due to this, and their progressive growth strategies, they wish to expand and are looking to recruit an experienced construction planner to work within their close knit team.
You will be based at the company's head office in Hertfordshire; however you will occasionally be required to make site visits.
In order to apply you will meet the following criteria:
-You must have a minimum of 5 years construction planning experience in the UK
-You must be proficient in the use of PowerProject planning software, and have extensive experience of using it in a commercial environment
-You must have experience of working on projects worth over £10mn
-Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on a wide variety of construction projects.
-You must have management capabilities, this is a senior role and you will be responsible for setting up a function. This means that in addition to technical attributes and relevant background, you must also have strong interpersonal skills to fulfil this role. Remuneration
For the successful applicant, our client will offer remuneration of circa £50,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience. Other benefits will include a generous car allowance, private health and company pension scheme.
