A major networking and telecoms company seeks a Software Developer to join their busy team in Hampshire, working in C# and .Net. Candidates should have experience of Web Services, SQL Server and JSP and/ or ASP, and XML. Candidates for this role should have a sound understanding of the Software Development life cycle framework and ideally a degree in Software development or business systems. You should have at least 2 years of application development experience. This person will be responsible for the development, support and maintenance of workflows and reports. You will ensure that the developed software is of optimal benefit to the business and deliverable in the agreed timeframe. You will develop and maintain a suitable design to implement the business requirements defined above such that the solution is robust, scalable and in line with company development standards. Desirable skills would be Business Objects/ Crystal Reports, and experience of a business integration software enabler such as Biztalk, Webmethods, WebSphere etc. You should be able to demonstrate a logical, methodological approach to your work and a keenness to further your career.
