My Client
A medium sized main contractor currently seeks the expertise of an Intermediate Planner / Senior Planner to join their expanding team based in Hertfordshire. You will be working on a variety of design & build, fit-out, and shell & core projects.
My client was established during the last ten years, in this time they have been designing and building new facilities for the business, leisure, education and commercial sectors.
The Role
The role will be mostly office based in Hertfordshire with occasional visits to sites in Central London. Your responsibilities will include liaising with clients, contractors & subcontractors, creating detailed project plans, monitoring and reporting progress, critical path analysis, etc.
You will be working within a small team of experienced planners, as the company expands further you will have the opportunity to be involved in the development of assistant/ junior planning staff.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following:
- Significant planning experience on major construction projects in the UK.
- Main contractor background
- Proficiency with Asta PowerProject software.
- Strong communication skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
Remuneration
Remuneration will depend on seniority and experience, however the successful candidate can expect a basic salary up to £65,000 per annum. Benefits will include a company car or car allowance, pension and healthcare scheme.
