A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Analyst Programmer / Developer with UNIX SQL and Supply Chain / Warehouse / Distribution Systems experience (ideally Manhattan WmoS / PkMS / MMS / WMS / Red Prairie etc but training can be provided) to join their large established and expanding development team in the Midlands. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong Business Analysis skills along with excellent communication skills, as you will liaise with internal and external contacts frequently. The position will involve writing and testing program code according to supplied business and technical requirements adhering to high standards; performing necessary analysis of business requirements, proposal and design of suitable technical solutions, support of existing legacy and business systems; investigation of problems and where required, proposal & implementation of solutions; unit and system testing of Legacy and Common business systems; and preparation of technical and/ or user facing documentation as required. Personally you must have excellent communication skills as you will liaise with internal and external contacts frequently.
